Inspired by the great northern area we live in, along with the healthy benefits each ingredient has to offer, our Maple Bacon & Liver treats were born!

Maple syrup is not just for pancakes! It actually offers some “sweet” support for your pet’s immune system and is an excellent source of manganese, zinc, and antioxidants. It even has fewer calories than honey! When paired with meaty strips of bacon, it makes for an irresistible taste.
Each bacon strip is cooked and then drained of the fat and grease, all to get the tasty flavour bacon has to offer with as little fat as possible.
Liver is very high in protein and vitamin A, and contains 10 to 100 times the nutrients of muscle meat. It also contains several B vitamins and iron. When feeding your pet liver it is good to do so in moderation because of the high amounts of vitamin A. This is why we balance the liver in our treats with other healthy and beneficial foods!
Ginger root is known for helping with nausea, and will help with diarrhea and gas as well. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, helping with joint inflammation and pain.
We added peas and carrots for a nice balance and the added health benefits. Peas are packed with healthy vitamins and minerals for your pet, and are also rich in protein and high in fiber. Carrots are a great source of vitamin A, potassium, and fiber, among other vitamins.
